Although we’ve all been using smartphones since 2007 and most websites have long since adopted a mobile-friendly layout, a good many business owners out there haven’t yet updated their site for viewing on mobile-devices. In most cases, business owners don’t even know if their website are mobile-friendly. Are you one of them?
If so, despair not: the fine folks at Google have created a tool just for you, in the form of the Mobile-Friendly Test page as seen in the screenshot below.
Just enter your web address, click the “Analyze” button and within a few short seconds Google will return the results and you’ll know whether or not your site is mobile-friendly, or not.
If so, it’s high-five time, you’re good to go. If not, however you should really consider going mobile-friendly and make it among your priorities as we head into 2016. With so many websites out there that haven’t yet gone mobile, your site’s visitors will thank you for it and the search engines will reward you by placing your site higher in search results than your desktop-only competitors.
